I decided to do another 100 Day Art Challenge! These can be a lot of fun as long as you plan ahead and give yourself some basic rules or guidelines. Without some sort of a plan, you can get lost by about Day 30 trying to come up with something to do.
For this round I decided to focus on working only digitally using either Affinity Photo, Adobe Photoshop, or both, to create the final image. I also decided to stick to a specific format; a 4 cm x 4 cm square centered on a 8 cm x 8 cm square. In the past I have also set a time limit on how long I have to create something. This was done to try and take the pressure off that a finished piece of art needed to be created every day, and to keep the project more experimental and fun. For this round of the 100 Day Challenge I haven't set a specific time to complete the design but by keeping the image small I find I can come up with something and complete it in under an hour while watching a little TV.
Here is a selection of art created during the first week of the challenge. The artwork created every day is posted to my Instagram account; just click the link at the top and follow along!
