Monochromatic Floral

I wanted to try and make a collection of monochromatic patterns,  specifically black, white and some shades of gray. I'm thinking for the main print, a bold floral, seen here, would be nice with more abstract, textural coordinating patterns. I'm wondering though about the lack of colour so I tried overlaying a pattern of purples. This is the result.

Quite a different feel once colour has been added. Maybe do a series of colorways? Clearly more thinking is needed!
